Cognizant has announced the expansion of its partnership with travel technology company Travelport

The IT major will work towards embedding AI across the Travelport’s platforms, products and operations enabling faster innovation, greater efficiency and enhanced traveler experiences, it said in a media release. 

The deal will involve both transforming how Travelport builds and operates its own technology as well as embedding AI directly into its products. 

“We have invested substantially in AI, in our platforms, our engineering tooling and our people, and the real measure of that investment is what it makes possible for clients. With Travelport, we are putting those capabilities to work on infrastructure the global travel industry depends on ,” said Ravi Kumar S, Chief Executive Officer, Cognizant.“
